Decking the halls

I love Christmas. I know, who doesn't, right. Today was a great kick off to an excellent Christmas season. 

I wish I'd have documented more of this with pictures, but here is what I've got.
December first brought our first snow.

We read the Christmas story and the boys each got an advent calendar. They were very excited to find chocolate inside. 

We also got to make some fun Christmas crafts.

Then my friend Krisha came over and helped me deep clean my kitchen. (happiness)

We had a yummy dinner and then the decorating began. 

 As soon as Daddy pulled out the tree there was excitement.

 Yay, Christmas!
